Artist Bio:
My formal education at UCLA was in Graphic and Media Arts. I became dedicated to learning all I could about television production back in middle 80s when it became evident to me that the ability to communicate in live or filmed/taped was a far more powerful a medium and required layers or elements to complete a production as opposed to print. It was all these individual elements that intrigued me. I began working as an intern with independent video producers and cable television companies. And, in 1984, 2 major events stimulated my decision to pursue television and video production more intently. First was software whose designs were based on Television production applications. Such as graphic/paint packages for video. Second was the introduction of the Video Toaster that revolutionized the industry by providing a Switcher, CG, Paint, and 3D Animation applications in one inexpensive and reasonably priced software/hardware package. Since then I have kept up with other software and hardware with concern to television production. I have added Non-linear editing to my abilities along with web design and several other hardware and software knowledge. I’ve attended Cal-State to learn Quantel PaintBox, a rare opportunity, in as much as the software/hardware is very expensive and assignments are rare. Still the knowledge and its use was worth the time and effort.

28 Jun 2007 02:08 - Texas Cattle Ranch in California
Who says Texas is the place to find great shots of ranching, cattle, Cowboys, steer?
Just 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles we find Texas style ranching with all the the things you'll find in Texas or Montana. These are great passing shots for Westerns or any reference shots to ranching, cattle.
