What's going on? I'm still receiving an error message - "too many keywords, max is 25". Is it a joke? I have in my collection many, many footages with more then 40 keywords each.
I know... but I am glad they did it this way instead of giving clips with less than 25 keywords better search results. Which is the way it was before... if you had more than 25 you wouldn't come up as close to the beginning of the results as if you had less.
25 is a good number. I rarely am able to even get to 25, and I think if you're hitting 25 (or more), than those keywords aren't too relevant to your clip.
If you have some clips in your portfolio with 25+ keywords, then those are "grandfathered" in and are acceptable--until you go to edit them, then you'll be cut off a 25.
Are the number or words in descriptions limited? Why not post a description that uses good keywords? The search engine seems to index the descriptions.
I think buyers don't read the keywords anyways, but would respond to a richly worded description that makes the footage sound remarkable.
You can't check the rankings for members, it's a secret thing that only P5 knows (to prevent people from manipulating it). I *think* the ranking is based on number of clips, number of clip views, and number of sales; though not necessarily in that order.
So the key to increasing your rank is to upload more clips and good stuff that people want to view and/or buy.
If you feel that ranking is low because you've only sold one in a years time that is not the problem or reason. What you need to do is upload more clips. Surely there must more interesting subjects around there to tape.

I must be the bottom of the bottom.
Really need to get a better fix on how to change that.
