Hi everyone,

We've updated the database, php, zend and ioncube today. Total downtime would be around 10 minutes but distributed over several occasions.

Hopefully this will solve the problem that we have to reboot every second month. That was related to the database I think. Possibly due to our enthusiastic use of the full text search engine.

There might be a few other very short downtimes when we tweak some new settings on the database. They should not exceed 1 minute or so.

Yep, noticed one of those blackouts during tagging recently. Good thing I keyword in an Excel sheet and not online. ;-)

We're definitely well on our way... The word for now is sit tight, keep shooting, and expect something soon. Yes it's a vague term, and we know y'all are getting a little impatient (we are too!), but we're pushing back the 1.0 a little more, with the idea that it's better to do it right than to do it fast. It will happen when it happens folks, and it will be well worth it when it does, we promise. :-)

New Caledonia is a very beautiful island indeed! But too far from the rest of the world! haha I'd better shoot a lot all this beauty while I'm here (leaving next year).
