Not many views

I'm new to pond5 and I can't figure out how to get more views. I've tagged my files with what I think are good keywords.

For example, one of my tracks has 1 view and 1 sale. Another has 4 views and 2 sales. It seems like I need to get my views going and I'll be on my way.

    Any ideas?

    It's not only good keywords.
There are over 30,000 music files on Pond5. You have 13. The odds of people finding your clips is pretty small.
But it is a pretty good start to have a few sales with so few clips in your portfolio.

Keep making good quality music and uploading. The views and more sales will come.

I get what you are saying about the amount of files. Even I can't find my own tracks when I search for a handful of my keywords!

I would consider 1 view and 1 sale as well as 4 views and 2 sales excellent. With only 13 files online you are doing far better than almost anyone else here. I would suggest to most new P5 artists that getting any sales with less than several hundred quality files is a bonus. With nearly six million items for sale here at P5 .... you are my hero getting sales with such few products. Patience is a virtue and stock sales does take patience.

Yes, selling stock music is a very long winding road :) We started in the end of March and so far 2 sales but we only have 74 music files so its still a needle in a haystack. We are actively uploading new stuff every 3 months to keep our selection fresh :)

Thanks for feedback kk5hy! Yeah it's our recent favorite too :) we recorded main guitar riff with electric guitar first but then we tested how it would sound played on acoustic guitar and it was bullseye :)

    ps. nice hat!

hey dog (zing), how did you manage to have such a large number of sales although you only have 50 clips?? i mean i checked out some ppl here that have over 400 clips and made way way less than you did.... whats your secret? cuz quantity sure isnt. i mean you have such a limited number of clips and you managed to get views on them. i know its not about number (cuz its tooooo small, 50) and i know it aint about quality (in the sense that you cant rank better in searches based on your quality, the bot that displays the searched items cand interpret quality). so how come?

Hey LivingroomClassics, Read ZingDogs Bio, it might give you some idea. Sounds like he would have a huge amount of contacts for the amount of work he has done, and all of which would probably buy his music without even thinking about quality. He seems to be very established. Nice work ZingDog, if only it worked like that for all of us. Hehe.
