Sitting watching the news and during the commercial break caught a commercial using some of my stock from my wind turbines bin. Had to look twice! Great to see where the stock clips go.

Yeah, I freak out and start yelling. Everyone at home is used to it now. :)

It's a pity we never know who buys the stock until we see it somewhere, but I suppose there is a good reason for not knowing who buys what.

I sometimes wonder if multiple sales of my sound effects appear in the same project, and if so, what might happen plot-wise...For example, yesterday two sfx sold, glass breaking + a raging river. From this one can think of possibly an action movie where the protagonist is kayaking down a raging river only to escape attackers by throwing a molotov cocktail (glass break) at their adjacent boat.

Same thoughts happen with multiple sales of video...

I am seeing a lot of Las Vegas stuff on TV ads of Miss Universe 2010 and Advil who is giving away a free trip to Las Vegas. I think some clips are from Pond5.

I'd love to know where every clip goes, but since I don't watch TV (funny that since I work in the industry) I don't often see my stuff.

    Congrats on seeing your material!

Neither have I, but maybe that's for similar reasons as James pointed out. Living in a country with practically no interesting TV stations doesn't help either...

Either way, very nice to see one of your clips being used!
