Canadian visual artist, film maker and Nature Sound Recordist, Mark Brennan's interest in nature stems back to a child hood in Scotland.
His audio recordings stem mostly from the Acadian and Boreal Forests of Eastern Canada, reflecting the diverse flora and fauna of this region including the wild coastline of the Atlantic Ocean and the Northumberland Strait.
With over 20 years experience working in the forests of Eastern Canada as both a landscape painter and sound recordist for his venture, Wild Earth Voices, his pristine recordings represent all eco-systems at all times of the year.
Mark records mostly ambient soundscapes of wilderness areas using a high quality SASS stereo array and omni-directional microphones into a sound devices recorder. He also records using a binaural setup.
