Point Lobos is close to the town of Carmel and has been called the "greatest meeting of land and water in the world" by landscape artist Francis McComas. Home to over 250 animal species, the park is also a marine protected area and this wildlife protection ensure regular sightings of Sea Lions, Otters, Harbor Seals and Whales.
