Description
A woman rinses a plankton net in a lake. This is part of an invasive specie monitoring program where samples of plankton are checked annually for organisms such as zebra mussels. In this clip she vertically pulls the net up and down in the water to rinse plankton down into the collecting cup at the bottom of the net. She has already dropped the net much deeper to collect the sample.
