Animation of Jupiter and the 4 large moons Ganymede, Callisto, Europa, and Io in a time lapse. We see rotation of the various gas layers including the Great Red Spot around the planet. The Great Red Spot layer rotates opposite the rotation of the planet, which is factually true. Stars are visible in the background but you can't really see them in the preview.
The four moons are in correct scale to Jupiter and each other. The largest being Ganymede, then Callisto, Europa, then Io. The moons orbits around Jupiter are also time correct in relation to each other. For example, for every orbit of Ganymede (the largest), Io (the smallest) orbits Jupiter nine times. NASA images used for Jupiter and all 4 moons. One thing I found interesting in researching this is that Ganymede is larger than the planet Mercury.
