Description
The Supermoon is the biggest and brightest moon of the year, as it passes the closest to Earth.
This was taken in Toronto on May 5th, 2012 -- the Supermoon for 2012.
A 1560mm telephoto was used, which allowed a very large image. Because of the extreme zoom, there are some atmospheric waves.
The image was exposed a little dark, to allow the greatest amount of detail.
