The Gansu Datang Yumen 49 MW Wind Farm Project involves the construction of a wind farm in the administrative region of Yumen City in the northwest of Gansu Province, China. The main objective of the project is to generate power from clean renewable wind power in Gansu Province and contribute to the sustainability of power generation of the North West China Grid.

The wind farm will have a total installed capacity of 49 MW. The project consists of the installation and operation of 58 wind turbines with an individual capacity of 850 kW. The project’s expected effective operating hours amount to 2150 hrs/year. The expected net annual power supply to the grid is 103.50 million kWh.

The project will be connected to the local grid via an on-site 10kV / 110kV transformer station that connects to Yangguan 110 kV transformer station. This transformer station is linked to the local grid and connects the project to the Gansu Provincial Grid, which is part of the North West China Grid.
