The port of Kaminoseki.
Kaminoseki (上関町 Kaminoseki-chō?) is a town located in Kumage District, Yamaguchi, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 3,971.
Local people are opposing the construction of a nuclear plant since 1982 by Chugoku Electric Power. This nuclear plant would cause great damage to the wild life, according to the fishermen. The Fukushima tragedy gives their opposition a national voice.
