Santa Barbara's Jesusita Fire began at approximately 1:45 on May 5, 2009 and went on to consume 8700 acres and destroy 80 homes. This footage captures the fire about two hours after it began, as viewed from a hill across the city. An ESTABLISHING SHOT with a long slow zoom towards the smoke and growing fire in the foothills behind the city.
