Dolly movement through a molecular biology laboratory we see a lab coat, a scientist works with a laptop placed at his lab table, we see different pipets hanging in the lab shelves, Erlenmeyer flasks, test tubes, species of cyanobacteria blue green algae which live in fresh water and are being researched in order to genetically enhance their photosynthetic metabolism to trigger the production of ethanol within each cell. The color and the form of these cyanobacteria delivers an ancestral feeling, like looking at a dinosaur, and since they were the first beings which performed photosynthesis, one could be perplexed by their ancient form and movement. The microscopic images show the movement these algae utilize to swim in their environment. Utilizing carbon dioxide, water and sunlight these algae are able to produce the third generation of biofuels by using resources which are abundant in nature.
