A hoodia plant growing in the wild in the Biedouw valley of the Cedarberg, Western Cape in South Africa. The hoodia plant's appetite-suppresant qualities were discovered by the San Bushmen who originally lived here, and is currently commercially grown as the active ingredient in weight loss products.
