About the Footage

A recreation of the classic 1970s TV Tennis Game genre, two players battle it out with only their ability to stay awake to back them up.

In this version the game is in deadlock in which both plays have leveled their paddles, suggesting a status quo - checkmate - stuck in a rut - going nowhere - or many other 'deadlock - humdrum - routine' situations.

Comes complete with state of the art (...well state of the art in 1973 at least...) digital audio.

This ground breaking video game provided literally minutes of fun to those willing to convince themselves they were, in some way, living in the future and it was acceptable to spend your time pretending you were a robot playing tennis.

Loops forever seamlessly - so you can make it last for as long as you like (or can stand).

See 1970s TV Tennis PAL for the same design but with some real ping pong action.

Also available as NTSC.
