Description
A zoom out of the famous Hoover Dam. This shot shows traffic travelling across the arched dam and zooming out to show the immense size of the Dam with the 4 intake towers. The Dam is over 700' high, 45' thick at the top and 600' thick at the bottom. The Nevada-Arizona state line bisects the Dam. In the background can be seen the new towers for the bypass suspension bridge. The water body upstream is the manmade Lake Mead formed from daming the Colorado River.
Location: Arizona-Nevada stateline, Hoover Dam, United States
