Description
The Bogor Botanic Garden with 87 hectares total area is an Indonesia's first and foremost botanical garden that was founded by Germany botanist Reinwardt in 1817. Located 60 kilometers south of the capital of Jakarta in Bogor, the garden is situated in the city center of Bogor and adjoin the Bogor Presidential Palace. Beside as a world famous institution for research and conservation, the garden is also as a large recreational area.
