Description

Scenic shot of the standing stone at the Hill of Tara, called the Stone of Destiny (Lia Fáil in Irish Gaelic). It was here that the Irish High Kings were crowned. Legend has it that the stone would shout out if the true King of Ireland or Scotland touched it.
In Celtic times, the Hill of Tara was the seat of the High King of Ireland, as well as a sacred site for the Celts. Several monuments remain at this famous archaeological site in Ireland.

Location: County Meath, Ireland
