Description
The Martello tower at Noirmont Point in Jersey. Originally built as defences against possible French invasion in the 1800s Martello towers are scattered throughout Jersey but very few in original condition. This one was painted black and white and is located just below the cliffs of the main naval defence post for the occupying German forces in World War 2 at Noirmont Point.
