Description
The southern stingray (Dasyatis americana) is frequently seen off Florida and the Bahamas. Its prey (bivalves, worms, crustaceans, small fish) are often buried in the sand, from which the stingray must dislodge them (as it is doing in this clip). Here filmed off Key Largo, Florida.
Location: United States
