Just mask the video into three pieces and they can be combined, layered, blurred, sized, animated, cropped and tinted... allowing you to assemble an almost infinite number of different HD 1080 smoke or steam effects. Using the free Knoll "UnMult" plugin in After Effects works really well - it eliminates the black by creating an alpha channel.
