shot this the night of october 22, 2007. the 40mph wind gusts fueling the fire made it a bit difficult to keep things steady. we were about 8-10 miles west of magic mountain (by hwy 126) near piru, california, usa. these flames must have been 200+ feet tall during wind gusts and flare ups. one of the most unbelievable sights i've ever seen..
