Description
Injured Whitetail Deer (Odocoileus virginianus) in northern Saskatchewan. This trophy buck has a large bloody wound on his right side. Injury may be from predation from wolves or Canadian Lynx. It may also be a fighting injury. It will be tough for this buck to survive the brutal Canadian winter of the northern Boreal forest.
