Tragedy / Disaster

A selection of pieces with minor chords to accompany tragedy or disaster. There are also some which despite the initial minor chords suggesting adversity, have a major chord phrasing indicating overcoming of that adversity; such as the drowning victim being rescued, or the final flames being extinguished after a fire. A good example of this is the piece "When I Saw The Rain". The piece begins with a very sombre, minor chord sequence, however it breaks out into a huge major chord phrasing suggesting success in adversity.
