My formal education is in music. I have a B.A. in Jazz Studies and Music Media. I am honored to be a member of the Professional Composers forum and act as a guest lecturer at multiple universities throughout the U.S. During my career, I have been fortunate enough to be a musician, teacher, songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer. I have had the privilege of performing, writing, and touring with big bands, jazz combos, funk, soul, blues, and rock bands.
