About Me
HistoryClipz is a collaboration between photographer and videographer Adrian Buck and historic services company Black Knight Historical, owned by Ian Pycroft.
Our goal is to build an exclusive collection of history-themed footage spanning the ages. “Ian has the knowledge, dramatic flamboyance and in the broadest sense ‘the means’ by which to recreate the many scenarios and visuals we will need”
“Having worked on historical shoots previously with Adrian, I knew he had the vision and skills necessary to make this kind of collaboration work. Both our businesses had been hit by the pandemic so this seemed a good time to try something new”
We can also offer custom shoots for re-enactment groups, collectors, businesses and other individuals needing quality video or photos of objects and artefacts, weaponry, period costumes and themed portraits.
And we welcome clip suggestions as we continue to build our collection here at Pond 5. Unless commissioned, we cannot guarantee to upload in time for your project but these ideas will help us form new and future shoot itineraries.
Technical Note:
Our aim is to supply footage in both a flat (Canon C-log) colour profile and graded. However for now clips (shot from December 2020) will only be available unadjusted with the flat colour profile.
