Leaning Tower of Pisa

On December 15, 2001, the Leaning Tower of Pisa reopened after a $27 million, decade-long effort to stabilize its structure and prevent it from toppling over without eliminating its world-famous lean. Construction of the tower began in 1173 and was finished around 1370. Browse editorial stock footage of this historic attraction in Italy’s Tuscany region.
