(11)This started many years ago when I began to venture into old English woodland spaces to witness the awakening of nature in the early morning. A truly special time. Sunrise Birdsong is a flavour of this, and the first of many early morning nature soundscape recordings I have in my catalog. The aim of my recording trips has always been to capture the sounds of nature without machines or humans. This library is a good example of this, as there is light breeze, twittering, chirping, hooting and flapping from the heart of the woodlands I visited. Each track is recorded from a different location and time, so as to capture a different flavour of birdsong. We move from sparse and spacious to the trickle of a woodland stream, through to a very full dawn chorus soundscape.
