Canon is expected to announce the T4i and the 70D at CP+ next week in Japan.
Nothing is known about them other than the T4i is expected to start shipping in March and the 70D in April.

Kinda amazing they are releasing models that are newer than the 5D MKII or 7D. They must not have been real happy with the T3i and since the 5D is still selling well why change it.

Rumor is the 5DM III will be announced in April at NAB.
That said, two movies shot with (or partially with) the 5DM2 got Oscar nominations, so it's not like they need to upgrade much.

They could integrate their 50Mbit XF 422 codec that is used in the C300 and XF300/305 & XF100/105.

Speaking of codecs... Did you see that Canon filed for a patent on a RAW file format last October. That could be interesting.

Also, while not an Oscar contender, the new movie "Act of Valor" used the 5D for most of the action sequences.
