Another Way To Earn From Our Clips

I have noticed "Download A Still" button on our video clips. Considering 4k is an 8meg image why can't the download a still button be allowed to purchase a frame for a $ amount of money? People use frame grabs for stills and advertising all the time now! So my suggestion is make that button a $5 buy of a 4k frame and a $2 buy for an HD frame!

Nope, price is wrong. The idea is great. Allow the buyer to select the frame from the 4K plus size clip but price needs to be set by Artists as a default. $5 and $2 is no where close to a good price.

Agree- good idea, let the artist determine price.

I'm absolutely against "download a still button be allowed to purchase a frame". Means i have to delete videos because i sell / offer stills at other places as exclusive!

I still think it's a great idea, someone will do it at some point!

I have seen clients use frames from my video for their websites all the time! It really only makes sense.

Does the video licence allow the buyer to grab a frame and use it? I guess a video should be a video and not be able to be used as a series of photos. With the better 4K cameras each frame is a perfect and great photo. The license needs to be modified and an option at additional enhanced cost allow frame grabs. Otherwise a 4K video is hundreds of top level photos.

I wonder how tineye is going to deal with frame grabs.

Too complicated, clients should buy the video and pay full price and then they can use a still frame I have no problem with that.

Enhanced license to do this. Frame grabs could easily be more value than the video. A frame grab from 4K is not the same as using the video and should not be.
