I have jumped in the pond, would love the community thoughts on my work. Hate it or love it it's all good by me.
Hope to do well here! https://www.pond5.com/stock-video-footage/1/artist%3acraftedshutter.html#1

Well it's about time!
Welcome and I don't have to critique your work. It's always been stellar, you'll do well here.

I haven't been on the Istock forums in over 2 years. I guess things haven't gotten any better there.

I could write a big ol mess on iStock but it would be a waste of time! Glad to be spreading out and thank-you for the kind words!
I feel alive and happier from doing this that is for sure. The forums are a ghost town so you are not missing anything!

Any tips on how anyone promotes their work here?
JHDT_Productions 16 Jun 2016 18:33
There were a few threads about how to promote your work.
Offhand, I use youtube, twitter and Instagram.
I'm on Facebook but that is a waste of time for me only because most of the people that follow me are friends and local indie film people that don't have money to buy videos.

I'll post some of my video on Instagram and link that to Twitter where I'm followed by people that could buy stuff.
Other than that, I would be open to other ways.

I do have a good number of buyers on linkedIn. Twitter is next for me and I need to get more up on Instagram. One quick dumb question. Do you make your links active in your profile with ubb?
JHDT_Productions 16 Jun 2016 18:47
You mean my artists profile?

You have to use the "link" command
like this:

Hmm, well the forum won't let me make an example. Just click on the link button below and that will show you how it needs to be.

Thanks!

Welcome! I think you'll get a decent boost from Twitter if you take the time to build up a following AND if you don't spam with dozens of your own works every day.

Good advice, appreciated!
