I sell less them now than before, but overall I get about %30 more income from just sound effects. I prefer to sell one for $10 than 5 for $2. It is nice to sell 1s SFX for $10. A couple weeks ago I raised price on some of my $40-$50 videos to $60-$70 and Yesterday I sold one for $70. I think it is time to have deeper look on my videos and reprice them one more time.

The dialogue on low priced clips is not offensive at all. It's good to talk openly about this. Many of you have much larger portfolios and have been doing this a lot longer. I have tried $10 clips early on and now sell for about $40 minimum. There is, in my opinion, no difference in the amount I make. If anything I make more. My last upload I increased prices for aerial clips to $150 and was surprised to see three sales in a series within the first couple weeks.

Those of you with large $10 selections, why not do an experiment. Jack the price up to $20. As you know it takes almost no work to do this. Then see what your income is, not sales volume, but income. Tell the rest of us what you find. There is a happy medium to all this and most of us would like to know what that is.

If all you desire is sales volume, where you can brag about how many clips people buy of yours, then that's different. For that I have other suggestions for you. Perhaps later.
