Motion JPEG at 24 fps. Is it interlaced? I personally could care less about 24 fps, a great 30 or even better 60 fps at 1920x1080. Too much hype on 24.

What's interesting is that all the big action directors/producers are pushing 48fps or faster as the new standard frame rate.

Interesting that the new GoPro is 960 HD at 48 fps (1080 at 30 fps and 720 at 60 fps).

The Hobbit is being filmed in 48 fps by Peter Jackson. I look forward to seeing more movies in this format. The latest rumor is that the 5DM3 is coming out at the end of this month.

If you take a look at the release dates on dpreview and put them in a chart then you can see a pattern. First should come the 1Dx. Second comes the T4i or 650D and in september the 5D MkIII. But I don't know where to put the successor of the 7D because it's somewhere in between.
