I don't upload video footage per se, and I'm not sure if this helps any, but in the user preferences section there's an option to change downsized percentage pricing on sold footage. Pond5's little pop-up bubble says,
"Pond5 automatically generates smaller versions of your uploads for sale and sets them at a percentage of the price you set on the original version. You may change the percentage of the downsized prices below, but we highly recommend you maintain the default settings we've provided."
I'm not sure if using this feature would help increase you're overall revenue, but at least it's a suggestion.

Pretty soon P5 will be offering us the choice of paying any would-be buyers to license our stuff. The lawyer-speak will make it sound like it's a great deal for us

I have seen 3 clips on TV and not one showed as a sale from p5, I'm a exclusive contributor. Very sad
