Seems faster, again a learning curve to find where all the buttons and knobs are.

Don't know if anyone has posted this, but one of the first impacting feature with Windows 10 is the ability to natively preview Canon RAW CR2 files (5DIII/70D/T5i). I can tell you without a doubt this is real time saver for going through a full days shoot to remove or categorize all images before importing into Lightroom for post.

Soundcard drivers are still not up to date (soundblaster Audigy 64bit Win10 drivers due September) so Premier Pro can be really bad for i/o on real-time playback, but Nvidia/Cuda drivers seem ok.

That our initial findings at this time.

@sftigress - You go to the security setup and you turn off everything that you do not like. Remember webpage cookies also spy on you and although in Europe they have to alert you in USA an acceptance notification is not required by law.

I will wait long as possible before updating or using W10. The bad news are too much.
1) the forced auto-update is a bad feature. Won't be stressed by this whlie upload or editing clips.
2) the absolute no-privacy mode is a shame. Of course you can edit settings when digging deep into the system settings, but then you loose other features.

I am waiting too. Thanks for the heads up cine :) You're awesome. I hope you are doing well

Windows 10 seems to defragment/optimized disk is automatically. Mine is set to once a week. This can be a problem.

Does it defrag SSD? There is no benefit in defragging SSDs.
