I called my reseller today to find out the status of my camera (in Canada) and was told there was still no ETA. I ordered mine in late May. But they did say that if I was to order one today I wouldn't get it until February.

I ordered mine from B&H April 11. They are still sending to people that ordered April 8th so I'm hoping to get mine some time this year......

I may start thinking that no assembly line is in place for this camera. It seems that they produce a few each day. For a product whose Production Standard Time in man-hours should be less than 1 hour I may suspect that it is built just as an artisan makes his product; one single assembler in a table building the complete unit, testing it himself and making his own quality control.

After NAB I almost went shopping for a lens thinking it would be a good buy. I now have a real problem believing anything BMC says or even the specs on their cameras. They will need to be better than advertised. I really believe they dropped the price on the 2.5k trying to keep photogs interest due to continuing and upcoming delays and problems. The 2.5K were selling well at the higher price. Businesses that make promises need to do better than their promise.

I did the same thing. Thinking I would get my camera earlier this month I bought a Merlin 2 (B&H has it on for half price until the end of September). Now it is just sitting in the box... waiting for a camera.

Even if BM gave me a delivery window I would be OK but having no idea at all when it will arrive is frustrating.
