confused about file name

I just got a message from a pond 5 curator that returned my files asking me to remove the numbers in the description but there are no numbers in the descriptions however the file names do like "campfire 001" does pond 5 not allow for file numbering in the file title? or was there a mistake on the curator's part? how do I distinguish file names for similar subject clips?

The file name should be unique to the shot, of course, to your benefit in search results to include a few details about the content of that particular shot ... what differentiates it from the other campfire shot? The names can be similar, but there should be at least one word telling what the difference is.

"Sparks flowing up from a campfire, slow motion"
"Campfire burning low, close"
"Embers flickering in campfire"
"Campfire burning fiercely, pan right"
"Man adds wood to campfire"

etc.

Then, if you only have numbers in your file names, add those words to your file names so you can keep track. Put the numbered name into your description, or in the "Notes" section of the clip data page, if that helps you keep track.

Personally, I name each file as I export it, and this stays as the file name throughout the life of the clip.
