It has a clean HDMI output for external recording/minimal compression and I don't think it does line skipping. Still seems pricey but the market they are going for isn't that price sensitive.

Well, it can click 400,000 times while the 5D2 only 150,000 times.

Wow! Impressive! They have implemented all Magic Lantern features and the remaining of the Canon 5D Mark II wish list.
Canon, do you mind if I get a Nikon D4?

Soon pro-videographers will rate its video and HDMI output. Its specs say that it records H.264/MPEG-4 AVC HD but does not say anything about bitrates.
Will it beat the 1DX and the FS100?

"1080p30 HD video at up to 24Mbps with uncompressed video output"

Canon 5D Mark II is 38.4 Mbps(4.8 MBps).
The Nikon advantage is the pure uncompressed HDMI output which gives you more freedom.
