Phil Bloom didn't so much like the Red, but the C300..

A cool article about a quick project PB just did using the new Canon C300 - http://philipbloom.net/2012/02/23/thatdayc300/ - sound like he really liked the C300 as it had no issues as opposed to his debacle with Red

I like the c300, still feels over priced.
