Disposable? Just because it dosen't say 7D or 5DMkll - hardly so.

But thanks... I sold my 7D 8mos. ago :)

$200 to $400 cameras are disposable in that I dare do things with them I would not do with a $2,000 plus camera. Not saying they are poor quality, but to get a once in a lifetime capture I can take a much bigger risk ;)

There was no way I was strapping my DSLR on a car like I did my GoPro. But at $200, Don is right. The T2i is a "disposable DSLR". I'd be more willing to take risks with it.

BTW, used 7D's are selling for $700-$750 on eBay and $800 on my local Craigslist.

yup... same here in L.A. I was lucky to get $950.00 - it was in flawless condition, still had the "new car smell" LOL!

Looks like they are around $1400 new now. Correction just found a new Body only for $1269.00

Is there any difference in iso performance between 7D and 650d?
I know it has a Digic 5 processor, but after reading few reviews .. it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Anyone have any experience on mounting cams on a small plane (lower wing type) 4 seater. The pilot and I are looking into this for aerial footage. We are thinking using GoPro's with suction (pump-able not the gopro ones) cups.
