Video clip with audio

I use after effects to render my footage and when I include audio the file size jumps up to 3x the size. I am rendering pjpeg's and audio is 16bit. I have tried doing 8bit audio, but that makes it have static, also i've tried the compression that after effects offers and it doesn't lower the file size.

I normally just have underwater clips so never mess with audio. The clip im working with is 366mb without audio and 1.3gb with.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Since buyers will just strip the audio to use there own why bother with audio at all?

oh, yea I dont know. I thought some would want to use it and others could use it as a reference. I almost never include the audio but I wanted to try it for a few clips where the sound plays a part in the clip.

P5 may or may not approve it as there is a limit on file size of 1Gb.

Yeah what Jason said too. The one gig thing.
But I never keep audio anyway, usually it isn't recorded well and doesn't add anything to the video.

Audio is the most important part of any film/movie/video - however, I only include it here if it's crucial to the clip. For instance, I leave the audio in on all Trains, Planes, and Automobiles.

I generally use a shotgun mic, so the audio while NOT perfect in any manner, may be good enough for some buyers.

I only leave audio on very few selected clips. There are sound effects members that need to make a buck.
