Hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving if you're in the USA, or had a plain awesome day if you're elsewhere in the world.
I'm new to Pond5 and I'm slowly uploading a few things, hoping to compose and upload at least 1 new clip each day, since this is as much about numbers as it is about quality music.
I'd sincerely appreciate it if those of you viewing this post could take a look at my portfolio and offer some constructive criticism, even though there is not much to listen to yet.
Thank you sincerely in advance.

Hi, I am new here also but have been with iStock for 3 years. The pieces you have made are ok but need fleshing out a bit more and infusing with emotion.
I am an experieced Motion Designer and have commissioned music in the past. It strikes me from my experience that a really good idea is worth a hundred half baked ones. Which is a really clumsy way of saying ask and think about what directors and editors want before just dashing off a mediocre bit of music. Have a look at my website videos www.bernardallum.com. and other production companies websites for ideas.

Thanks for taking the time to check things out. I understand what you mean and I'll see what I can do. What I've uploaded so far, with the exception of one track, was not intended to be a complete work, that is, I didn't intend for them to stand on their own as a complete musical piece with musical development, climaxes, etc.
It seems to me like you're suggesting that I upload complete pieces that can stand on their own; more complexity, development, and growth throughout the duration of the piece, like a complete song, rather than a portion of one.

I like them...they would be good ambient tracks for a doc when you don't want the music distracting from dialogue, but rather supporting the mood. I don't think you necessarily need longer songs since productions often use shorter clips rather than a whole song.
