sony vegas support for 3840x1080 ???

I am trying to render a 3d side-by-side video at 3840x1080 using sony vegas movie studio platinum 12 (trial version), but it says that sony vegas does not support resolutions higher than 1920x1080

does anyone know how to make this work, or if there is a different version of sony vegas that does support it?

Sony Vegas Pro will render that.
