Nawak, are these 'loops' or how do you create your sounds? I was just starting to get into music production but am still really new. I have Sony Acid. Any tips? What are you using/

Hey dapoopta!

My list of programs and stuff is: Fl studio 10, adobe audition, sampler Kontakt 5, a lot of VST's like Shredder 2, Philarmonik, Addictive drums, Trilian, and etc.

For guitar amp I use Guitar rig 5 and Amplitube.

Sorry, I didnt work with Sony Acid, but I think for start you should watch some Youtube tutorials.

I can give you some tips from my own practice

1) Special attention must be paid to the development of hearing, as this is a key moment in the formation of identity musicians can recognize different sounds and then divide them into individual notes - very necessary ability, without which the musician can not be realized.

2) If u have an instrument (like I have a guitar) you should practice this stuff as much as it possible. I do about 4-5 hours per day.

3)All practise should be done with a metronome, need to constantly improve sense of rhythm.

4) Do not start right away with serious music. Simple arrangements will save a good basis for serious analysis.

5) If you can, try not to use prepared templates. Try to make everything from start.

6) If you not sure that something work proper, you can always gather info from youtube/musical sites there is always usefull info.

As I said before, I didnt use Sony Acid, but I can tell you how my process goes:

1) Recording guitar
2) Writting bass/synth/drums (for bass: Trillian, synth: SynergyX, Morphesta (libraries for Kontakt 5), drums
3)Mixing parts, adding effects + some random plugins)
4)Editing and mastering

If you want to know something else, ask me please.

Greets, Nawak.
