I will keep this short, people asking about image sales and especially for those selling images for a few few dollars, price your image at the price you want and not peanuts and you can get sales, just sold an image

Medilum size and received my 50% 17.5 dollars, this is not bragging just shows that people will pay 35 dollars or more for an image so no need for 3 dollar images

I had mine at 39 for about 3 months, nothing.. I have sold images but lately not much at all. meanwhile on alamy I just sold a single image for $312.00 , I am not sure what is going on but it seems images on the other agencies have exploded for me, even Shutterstock, really nice!

I agree. There's no point in being able to set your own prices and then offering images at microstock prices. I've recently set mine at $50, which is still far too low. I don't have high expectations of selling images on P5. However, if an interested buyer does come along at some point, I would at least like to make a few dollars. If someone really wants an image, they will will pay the price. Actually, royalty free (RF) images should be licensed at higher prices than rights managed (RM) ones because of the lack of usage restrictions on RF. However, microstock agencies have all but destroyed that business model.

Thanks for both your answers people need to understand they will not make 10 sales to my one by pricing their work at a ridiculous level, and the industry is damaged without damaging it more by giving work away

I think you're correct, David. Image sales at P5 don't have sufficient volume (an understatement) to warrant pricing images at micro-like levels. Also, as you suggest, we become our own worst enemies by setting our prices too low.
