artist page

Hi all,
It some thread we were asked not to load all clips at once when a user enters an artist page. This is fixed now.
There are also two "hidden" flags that might be of interest on the artist page:
https://www.pond5.com/de/artist/cardoso&pf_fullscreen=1
pf_fullscreen=1 could be added to any link on p5. It removes the logo and the boxes to the left. This way the artist page might be of interest to f.ex <iframe> on another page.
https://www.pond5.com/de/artist/cardoso&no=2
no=x sets number of clips per subpage.
If you have suggestions of customizations please write them in this thread.
We have no plans at all to let users enter their own html code.
Best regards,
Marcus

ok I know this is an old thread, im creating code for my future website. What is the proper way of doing a refferal with this fullscreen option? I mean I would guess this...
https://www.pond5.com/artist/ironstrike&pf_fullscreen=1;ref=ironstrike
is the right way to do it....
Correct?
LOL! I see that "reason for edit" marcus: ""i spell like a retarded monkey on drugs""

This would be the best way:
http://www.pond5.com/artist/ironstrike?pf_fullscreen=1&ref=ironstrike
In firefox you can verify this by go to
Tools/Options
Privacy
Show cookies
Filter: pond5.com
Make sure pond_cookie_referrer is set to your username
If you add...
&pf_bgc=eeeeee
...it might look better.

i know you say you no intention to allow html code but it would be great if there was a way we could use our own images/thumbnails to point to clipbins. there is at least another site that allows this sort of thing - and it means the artist pages can be customised to look fairly professional.

I'm a bit hesitant to carry images since we would not be able to check for spam then. A "Hi, I'm Marcus" and then a jpeg with http://www.sweetmantra.com/2009/04/torpedoes-carrots-and-pythons-my-favourite-spam-subject-lines.html.
You don't want to use the https://www.pond5.com/de/public-bins (if we add a button for that)?

What about showing ONLY the mini portfolio and the clip bins sections?

How about artists with over 1000 clips get to use embeded photos.
That would encourage people to work harder and it would ensure that people who weren't serious about stock video wouldn't be able to use the IMG command.
