Software version required?

In the file information, when I uploaded images previously I could leave the section for "Camera Model or Software Used" blank. It's still not marked as required, but now it won't let me leave it blank and gives me an error message "Software version required". Is this a glitch, or is it now a required field even though it's not marked as one?

I ran into this a few months ago but I waited through the review time before I found out. They now want either the camera model or software used. Once you fill in the form for software products you used you'll get a dropdown menu so you'll only have to add it once. It automatically fills in my camera model for me.

Thanks for the reply. Is there somewhere to fill in this form for software products used? It's not the same for all my images and often it's several different programs for each one. It's very unusual to be asked for this information, I've never seen this anywhere else!

Personally I agree that the buyer has a right to know what they are buying as far as software used and camera and model. The more a buyer is informed the happier they should be.
