Spent hour uploading images, nowhere to be found

I created a collection and uploaded 11 images to it. When I go to my dashboard or whatever and vew my collections, the collection shows to be empty. What's happening? And the upload is extremely slow. I finally had to resort to uploading one image at a time instead of several.
