SFX - Mono sound effects played as 1-channel stereo sound in preview

Hello dear pond5 crew,

I guess this is not a new complaint. ;)
Sound effects that are mono are played as a stereo file in preview.
This results not in 2 channels playing the same sound, but only the left channel playing the sound, while the right channel plays the watermark.
Is it possible to change this, into both channels playing the sound including the watermark?
Because as it is now, the sound effect is played in preview much quieter than it actually is.
